Games and contests

Investfly Games are time-bounded trading simulations where participants use a game portfolio and follow the host's rules.

All game activity is simulated. Leaderboard returns and portfolio values do not represent live trading, cannot reproduce every market cost or fill, and do not predict future performance.

Find your games

Open Games from the main navigation. The workspace separates games you host, games you are playing, and invitations waiting for your response. Public games can be discoverable; private and classroom games require an invitation or eligible join flow.

Join and participate

  1. Open a game or invitation and read its start time, end time, and rules.
  2. Join before the applicable deadline.
  3. Use the game's simulated portfolio while the competition is active.
  4. Follow the leaderboard and inspect your own positions and history.

The host can control which activities are allowed, including rules around short selling, automation, options, or futures. Controls that are disabled by the game are not available in its portfolio.

Create and host

Eligible Premium and Elite members can create and host games. Set a clear name and description, visibility, competition window, starting conditions, and allowed trading features before inviting participants.

Rules affect every participant, so avoid changing the purpose of an active competition without communicating with the group. For classroom use, explain how hypothetical performance will be evaluated and what activity is expected.

When a game ends

After the end time, use the final leaderboard and participant portfolios to review the simulated outcome. A ranking reflects the game period and rules only; it is not evidence that a strategy will work in another period or in a live account.
